Acceleration (units)

The SI-unit of acceleration is m/s². The units gal and milligal are used in geodesy and geophysics.

Usage: Type the value of the acceleration you want to convert into the field, behind which you find the unit. Click on any free space of the window or on the "calculate"-button and read the results in the other fields. Move the mouse over a unit or click on it to read its full name. Use the "reset"-button to reset your calculation.

Example: You want to convert 10 m/s² into ft/s². Type "10" into the field behind which "m/s²" is written. Click on any free space of the window or on the "calculate"-button. Find the result in the field in front of "ft/s²" (32.808 ft/s²).
