Electric Resistance / Electric Conductance

SI units of electric resistance and electric conductance are ohm (Ω) and siemens (Si). The unit mho ("ohm" in reverse order) for conductance should no longer be used (1 mho = 1 Si). abohm and abmho are older units from the centimetre-gram-second electromagnetic system. statohm and statmho are from the centimetre-gram-second electrostatic system.

Usage: Type the value to convert into the field, behind which you find the unit. Click on any empty space in the window and read the results in the other fields. Use the "reset" button to reset your calculation.

Example: What is the electric conductance of a resistor of 200 kΩ ? Type "200" into the field behind which "kΩ" is written. Click on an empty space in the window. Read the result in a field for the electric conductance (5 µS).

Remarks:
- Large and small numbers are written exponentially. As example 2.3e5 = 2.3⋅10⁵ = 230000 or 4.5e-5 = 4.5⋅10^-5 = 0.000045.
- There is no warranty for the conversion. Cactus2000 is not responsible for damage of any kind caused by wrong results.
