Type the pressure you want to convert into the field, behind which you find the unit written.
Click on any free space of the window and read the results in the other
fields. Use the "reset" button to delete your calculation.
The units N/mm-2 and ksi are used for mechanical stress.
For the calculation of the barometer columns you may choose the suitable temperature
(0°C, 4°C, 60°F or 20°C) from the pull-down-menu.
Afterwards, a pressure already calculated is transformed to the different conditions immediately.
Examples: You want to convert 4 bar into psi. Type "4" into
the field behind that "bar" is written. Click on any free space of the window.
Find your result in the field in front of "psi" (58.015 psi).
Which water column in cm at 20°C corresponds to a pressure of 2 bar ?
At first choose "20°C" from the pull-down-menu. Then type "2" into
the field in front of "bar". Click on any free space of the window.
Find your result in the field in front of "cm H2O" (2043 cm or 20.43 m).
Remarks:
- Large and small numbers are written exponentially. As example
2.3e5 = 2.3⋅105 = 230000 or
4.5e-5 = 4.5⋅10-5 = 0.000045.
- There is no warranty for the conversion. Cactus2000 is not
responsible for damage of any kind caused by wrong results.
- Please send an email if you have suggestions or if you would like to see more
conversions to be included.
- A collection of all Cactus2000-converters
running offline may be ordered
for a price of € 15.-.
A test version is available for download for free.
