Shrinkflation is the processs of reducing the quantity or size of products while the price remains the same. This calculator allows to compare the prices of a product in different sizes or quantities.

Usage:
Type the prices of two goods (A and B) into the yellow fields and each quantity or size
into one of the green fields. After the input and the next click the transformation
from kilogram to gram (or liter to milliliter, respectively) is performed immediately.
Have all values been entered, you can read the result after the next click.
When you change one of the input values, the result is updated after the next click.
Move the mouse over a unit or click on it to read its full name.
For another calulation type in the new values or click on the "reset" button before.
Example:
100 g of a product cost 1.49 €. After a price increase 90 g cost 1.99 €.
How did the price change?
Type the prices 1.49 and 1.99 into the two yellow fields and the quantities
100 and 90 into the lower green fields.
After a click with the mouse on any free space of the window or
on the "calculate" button you may read the result.
The price per kilogram increased from 14.90 € to 22.11 €.
This is an increase by 48.4 %.
