The frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit time. The period is the duration of one cycle in a repeating event. This converter allows to transform values for the frequency and the period in different units into each other.

Usage: Type the value to convert into the field, behind which you find the unit. Move the mouse over a unit or click on it to read its full name. Click on any empty space in the window or on the "calculate" button. Read the result in the other fields. Use the "reset" button to reset your calculation.

Example: What is the period of a vibration with a frequency of 440 Hz. Type "440" into the field behind which you find "Hz". Click on any empty space in the window or on the "calculate" button. Read the result in a field in the right column, for example 2.2727 milliseconds (ms).
